Miscellaneous Other Pictures From China, by Garth

Mao's mausoleum, located in Tiananmen Square. We went to "visit" him the same day as the National Museum. We debated whether it was his actual dead body or a wax figure. Everybody except one person (Garth) thought it was a wax figure.  We couldn't take pictures or you could be in on the debate too

We used the subway to get to many places.It was very crowded, but easy to use and get around Beijing

National Museum of China. We spent the day at the museum, after going to Mao's mausoleum.  It was a very detailed museum with information going back centuries.  It also had a wax figure section, with likenesses of famous Chinese people through time

For some reason many people asked to pose with us for a picture at the Summer Palace.  Aimee hated that (and would usually run away to avoid it).
