We came out of Gurney Mall from celebrating Aimee's birthday and saw, right in the middle of the road, this burned out passenger van blocking traffic. It would be like coming out of Seven Oaks Mall and right on South Fraser Way in front of the mall there would be a vehicle like this (only about the busy-ness of Gladwin Road). This type of van is used to transport workers to a job site. The doors were open as if the driver had just had enough time to get out before it was torched. Everything was down to the metal on the inside of the van and all the windows were blown out. There were two other vehicles that were damaged because of it, one with rippled metal from the heat and the other with a ruined back end including a shattered window. In the last picture is a fireman with colourful cargo pants (their "uniform"). There were two business-looking men taking down information from each other and talking on cell phones but neither looked to me as if they had been the driver of the vehicle. It reaked of burning but it also reaked of mystery!!!
