Different forms of transportation used: Bus, ferry, train, subway (below ground), tuk tuk, river boat, skytrain (above ground), elephant, tour van, airplane, and of course walking.
The plane ride from Bangkok, Thailand to our island of Penang, Malaysia (about 1000 kilometers) was about 1 1/2 hours, but it took 3 hours to take the bus from Penang Airport to our house (about 24 kilometers). Go figure!
