On August 29, our family went to a buffet at Paradise Hotel. It was an Italian buffet. It was a celebration for the first month of school. They had lasagne, soup, different kinds of pasta and sauces, pizza, salad, and drinks. It was very, very good and yummy and all you could eat. My favourite was the pasta, even though lasagne is usually my favourite. The lasagne was not very good because it had a fake flavour but the pasta was very good. The pasta had lots of flavour in it and they had all these vegetables and spices and you could pick what you wanted and the cook would put it in the pan and cook it in front of you. There was coffee and tea but I only had water. I was very, very full. During dinner we talked about whether we would go swimming afterward at the Paradise Hotel or watch 'America's Got Talent' at home on the computer. We decided to go home and watch 'America's Got Talent' because it was already 8:30 p.m. when we finished our dinner. Our waiter was from Pakistan and he came to Penang to learn English but his family was still in Pakistan. He had four kids too. His English was okay.
The next day we went swimming at the Flamingo Hotel. After we went swimming, my friend Jeta came over to my house. I could hardly wait to see her. First we talked a little bit, then we watched the video 'Felicity' which is a movie about an American girl in history. During the middle of the movie, we took a break to eat bread pudding, cantaloupe and apples. The bread pudding was very good especially with chocolate sauce. Then we watched the rest of 'Felicity'. Then we drove Jeta back to her apartment.
These were two good days for me.
