This is the first newsletter I sent home this year and shows my class of 14 students from Hong Kong, Malaysia, United States, Japan, and Korea. Since then I have had one more student join my class (a girl who moved up from Grade 1). To explain, KICs are elementary school Kids Interest Clubs that meet after school (I am helping to head up the Grade 4 and 5 Girl Scouts this year). MAP testing are U.S. standardized tests in Reading, Math, and Language Usage that compare students to their counterparts at Dalat, in the U.S., and also around the world.
